31 Days. Gratitude when Feeling Stuck

"What lies before me is not blocking my next step.
It is my next step."  --unknown

What if on some days
you're just not feeling this gratitude thing?
What if you're grouchy? Tired? Hurt? Numb?

This practice doesn't require you to pretend like you feel something you don't.

Let's not waste time being inauthentic.

Please be gentle.
  Be real.
                     Start small.

Sit quietly for a moment.

Allow yourself to name and admit what you are truly feeling. Without dwelling on the long story of it, simply sense what you are feeling. That is, begin to notice the sensations in your body as you allow your truth in this moment to just be there with you.

It is enough to simply begin by acknowledging where you are.

Now that is really some good advice! I get stuck all the time and it's always good to have a starting point to getting unstuck. Love that quote...whoever said it was really onto something there!
