If you insist that it never rain on your parade,
Then you'll never know
the breathtaking beauty of the rainbow.
Having been through drought, I have a different rapport with rain lately. Where once we'd groan to have rain "interrupt" our plans, now we dance jubilantly when it arrives.
I think we'd throw a parade for the rain!
I think we'd throw a parade for the rain!
Isn't it funny how perspective can shift like that?
Contrast heightens awareness,
Bringing new appreciation
And respect for
balance,
the ebb and flow,
the yin and yang
of life.
....
I am grateful for rain and sunshine, wind and stillness, cold and heat...for all the wondrous processes that make life possible on our little bubble in space.
In hindsight I often see how challenges, like rain, can provide a sort of nourishment for growth.
I am grateful for the dynamic balancing forces of life.

Driving across Montana traffic came to a complete stop on the side of the road. A complete rainbow so stunning truck drivers were pulled over to take photos. It's one of those things of "awe" the sky holds.
Bliss
Living through this summer's devastating drought absolutely changes perspective! We were so happy for the rain and are now looking forward to snow and the nitrogen it will bring to our earth.
