Tinfoil Rickrack Card Garland

Here's a super simple yet very beautiful homemade Christmas card or garland you can make. If you've seen my previous posts then you know we're "getting crazy with tinfoil" here at I Gotta Create! 

That's right: aluminum foil!! These 4 x 5.5 cream cards are adorned with craft paper card stock and tinfoil. That's it. It's easy to achieve this wonderful texture and silvery, ice crystal-like effect for the rickrack and snowflake.

We're going to get crazy with tinfoil!  That's right: tinfoil. Aluminum foil. It's the perfect material in all its glittery silver splendor. It's cheap. It's plentiful. It's in your kitchen right now. It's there for you in a pinch, but you'll also want to use it for its own sake. Really. You won't believe what we will be able to do with it.

Today I'm sharing homemade stamped Christmas cards in unusual  color combinations. The first one is built around a beautiful paisley background paper, topped with a subtler, darker-toned print. And they both sport that special "bling" for the snowflakes!
