Nature inspires me and my hubby like nothing else. So imagine the commotion when this visitor appeared within 5 feet of our patio door!
So let's use the wildlife cam to see what else might be going on out there when we're not looking...

That is awesome! We love the wildlife, too. We used to have deer come through our backyard all the time, but someone built a house back there and we don't see them anymore even though we still find their tracks. I can honestly say I've never seen a bobcat around here, though!

So last night I dreamed we had lions in the yard! I did NOT step outside to snap photos of those in the dream. My excitement was also tinged with not a small amount of alarm. ;)
How exciting! You have a wildlife sanctuary in your back yard. Looks like that coyote is "claiming" his territory. :(

We have some of those visitors and then some but I don't know if we have bobcats. And I don't want to see what those wild things do in my yard at night, as long as they leave the chickens and ducks alone. The last thing we were amused by was a raccoon taking a bath in a kiddie pool at 3 am.

How cool!!! I so miss living in the country. I once counted 19 deer right outside my living room window in the daytime. Now I live in an ag town. But still, I have seen a bobcat in the park, owls in the neighbor's tree and Tule elk right outside of town

WOW, you have an amazing property to have all those wonderful animals come to visit you. Maybe you should stop feeding them ;) Keep all small dogs and children inside! :)
Don't you just love living out in the country where the "deer and the antelope play..."? (sing along with me now! lol!) We feed the deer and turkeys here, too - and have seen fox and coyote crossing the property. That poor cat looks so hot and thirsty. :(

I got so excited when I saw your post title! I checked out all your bobcat pics a few months ago and was hoping you'd get another visit! They do have that wild look about them, don't they? Love that you set up a wildlife cam--what a great idea! If we had one, I would see a nightly parade of skunks! But, I don't need a camera to know they visit! Thanks for sharing your wonderful photos!

That is great! The only thing in my backyard are my dogs... and the occasional cat, opossum, rat, mouse, lizard... Oh, we do have a neighborhood coyote, but I haven't seen him (them) yet. Life in the city isn't nearly as interesting!
How cool to have a camera set up to catch your visitors. I know we have all those except the bob cat even though they can be around here.
We have the deer, owls, foxes etc. but THANK GOD no bobcats! We did have racoons that were living on our roof!!! It was horrible and I THINK they are gone now. You got some great shots. XO, Pinky
How neat! We had all of those at our last house too. Just moved a few weeks ago and we are trying to figure out what's around here. So far we've seen coyotes, racoons, squirrels, and a possible bobcat. It makes me so happy to see wild animals. :)
Too cool how close you were to the Bobcat. What a sanctuary you must have.
We've had a raccoon come to our place at night to eat the bird food. We "caught" him one night and were able to snap a few pics. :)

How cool that you get to see all those animals. My son has a wildlife camera out also but mostly we just see and occasional deer and a racoon.

These are awesome pictures! I think I would freak a little watching animals poop and pee in my yard! I know it happens, I just can't watch it! I think our property isjust a tad more suburban than your property...although we do get bobcats - remarkably. They make the news and everything. Thanks for sharing - and yes I love incorporating natural things in my creations and in my home.

LOVE seeing the wildlife in your backyard! What a treat for you~ We had a bobcat visit us once, but usually get road runners, opossums, snakes, birds (including owls and hawks) & coyotes. Have a nice weekend~

I swear if I saw this Bobcat I would of crapped my pants!!! Even though it's beautiful, I wouldn't of been able to enjoy it till I ran inside, locked the door, and screamed first. So glad you shared your creative inspiration with Sunday's Best - you helped to make it a great partay!
Awesome pictures, we have had a mountain lion sighted twice in our area in the last two weeks. We are watching our cattle a lot close let me tell you. We check them twice a day as it is, and my three sheep too. I just joined your blog, hope you will join me too.
That's amazing!! I would love to have a bobcat visitor, but that's unlikely. We have deer. You can't see them. They come under the blanket of darkness. And devour our flowers. Pesky little things.
