We've been having some natural, rustic-themed fun over here. I showed you how to emboss recycled food boxes and save on gift wrap.
This cowboy is ready to party... birthday, Fathers Day, anniversary, thank you -- you can rustle him up for any season!
Making wishes with these whimsical dandelions adds lighthearted fun to your party.
Of course, you can also use the DIY pom poms on those dandelions for DiY party hats!
And this "vase" fits with our theme. So... what's it made of? How was it done? Leave a comment and see if you can guess!

I think...it's a wooden kleenex box turned upside down! ; ) There's one like it lurking in my attic and, even if it isn't--it would work! Lol! Blessings, Sharon
Other than the raffia and some evergreen garland with white berries, I haven't got a clue! I'm suspecting it might be cardboard with a vase inside that you painted to look like wood? Whatever it is it's very pretty!
I'll take a guess! A tissue box, with paper bag wrapping, and a vase inside...
My guess is a kleenix box covered with wood grain contact paper and vase inside. . . .Very nice look no matter what it is made of.
It looks like it would/wood be a heavy hunk of wood that you carved out the middle of to use as a vase ... So it's gotta be a repurposed chip board box that you embossed to look like wood/woodgrain. Fantastic job!
I have no idea what its made of but I love it! Thanks somuch for sharing at Whimsy Wednesdays.
Could it be think it is a knife holder?
Is it a milk or orange juice carton, top removed, wrapped in paper or fabric? Waxed cardboard holds water reliably and can be weighted with stones in the bottom... disguised/decorated, it's the *perfect* vase/container for cut flowers or as a temporary planter. The top opening is large and doesn't always hold the flowers attractively...so one of these can even contain a narrower vase for holding the flower stems at the perfect circumference for the most attractive display.
Seems tall for a kleenex box, I think a juice box maybe cut down, and you gave it a faux wood look. Whatever it is it's cute. Thanks for sharing your creative inspiration over at Sunday's Best.
Ok - some kind of container covered with wood grain paper??
Thanks for linking to a Round Tuit!
Hope you have a fabulous week!
