Details bring any project to life.
They are, as they say, the spice of life!
Spice up a party theme for guys with
these 10 great ideas:
Use no paper to wrap these gifts!
You'll find a blank canvas
on the inside of any box you have on hand.
"Paint" that canvas with the
Powder Embossing technique while the box
is flat, and you can
bend your design around corners like this!
And...how about that two-toned embossing detail?
Set the scene or theme with your cards and gifts.
This could be a great
"Hooked on You" Valentine theme,
or perfect for Fathers Day or a birthday.
I raided hubby's tackle box and our fridge for
coordinating decor. See that bit of white netting?
It was formerly a bag for apples.
Extend the theme as many elements as possible.
Along with embossed fishes and fishhooks,
I simulated fishhooks for the gift tags by using
Christmas ornament hangers!
Much safer than the real thing, and super cute.
On the end of this "hook" I wrapped various colors
of embroidery floss to simulate a fly.
It's fun to use what you have on hand
and "see" things in a new light!
I love how this ribbon almost looks like underwater bubbles floating to the surface!
Complete your theme with a matching card.
You can see a coordinating fishy card here.
...and a coordinating woodgrain card here for the woodgrain gift box.
Have fun spicing up life with all the little details!
