Oh no!!!
Did Grandma lose her dentures
at her birthday party??!

No, those crazy grins
are actually ice cubes.

Yes,
ice cubes.

They're a great party joke
for a milestone birthday,
retirement party or Halloween party ~
sure to bring grins and laughs.

Here's how to make denture ice cubes

that look like real dentures:

I used these molds

and two ingredients:
Milk
{we actually use almond milk}
and watermelon juice.

After cutting up a watermelon, I noticed
the color of the juice with the bit of pulp
was perfect for the dentures,
making them look pretty realistic!

But you could use pink lemonade
or any pink or red color juice of your choice.

Pour just enough milk to fill the
teeth impression part of the ice cube tray
and freeze for at least an hour.
With the white teeth part hardened,
you can now fill the rest of the mold
with your pink colored juice.

Freeze at least 8 hours
to make sure your ice cubes hold up
so you can take pictures at the party!

Run a little bit of warm water
on the backside of the mold when
you're ready to serve so that the dentures
come out easily.

Another tip:
Make sure to throughly chill
the beverage you'll be serving
to make the denture ice cubes last longer.

A little bit of sprite
on the rocks will show them off nicely.

Then just whip up some party hats,

a card for the occasion,
and
serve up some laughs!
