I've gone to heaven!
Let this little concoction I dreamed up
take you there, too.
It's a skinny peanut butter, chocolate
banana sorbet.
It's a skinny peanut butter, chocolate
banana sorbet.
Or at least that's what I'm calling it!
At less than 100 calories per serving
this combination of ingredients tastes
so decadent and is so satisfying it
is hard to believe it's a "skinny" dessert!
Here's how to make it:
First of all,
I highly advise using organic
peanut butter and organic bananas.
Believe me, it's worth it.
The taste is much more
intense for the same calories!
A banana never goes to waste around here.
When they get too ripe, we toss them in
the freezer and use them for smoothies and
other desserts.
Totally Decadent Skinny Peanut Butter
Chocolate Banana Sorbet
for the whole family:
2 cups of ice
2 teaspoons of organic peanut butter
2 teaspoons of chocolate syrup
1/2 cup almond milk
1/4 cup coconut water
1 frozen organic banana
Optional: For an even deeper flavor for the adults,
add a frozen cube of coffee concentrate.
Blend on the "frozen dessert" setting
of your blender.
Serve immediately.
Serve immediately.
Makes 2 servings.
Now that I have a fantastic blender that really
pulverizes the ice, I've been making
all kinds of smoothies and frozen treats.
I'll be sharing my creations with you!
Here is an "unskinny" recipe...
I'm going glam with my peanut butter cookies:
