Don't you just love
simple little kitchen gadgets?
I fell in love with this
Cookie Stamp
and decided to put it to use immediately
to make the
World's Greatest Stamped Peanut Butter Cookies!
Take a look at the recipe and results:
Old Fashioned Peanut Butter Cookies
Warm up the oven to 375.
Cream together the following ingredients
in a large bowl~
2 sticks of butter (room temperature)
1 Cup packed brown sugar
1 Cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 Cup peanut butter
In a separate bowl mix together~
2-3/4 Cup flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Fold these dry ingredients into the creamed mixture.
Roll into approx. 1-1/2 inch balls
and press with your handy-dandy
cookie stamp.
Bake for 9-12 minutes.
Yields 24 giant, thick peanut butter cookies!
Do you like crunchy or plain peanut butter for your cookies?
How about a side of ice cream with that?
These giant cookies make the BEST

Side note:
I still have the old Betty Crocker
cookbook I grew up with, but it is missing
the page with the peanut butter cookie recipe.
Yet on the cookie tab,
in my childhood handwriting,
is this recipe. ??
I don't remember the circumstances
P.S. I was not compensated for this post... I just love the little stamp.
